Apple has revived plans for its $1 billion data centre in Ireland and has sought a five-year extension to its planning permit for the centre's development, Business Post reported. An extension would give the company until 2026 to construct the facility. Apple anticipates construction of the data centre would be completed by November 2026 at the latest.
