Apple is reportedly planning to allow third-party app stores on iPhones and iPads in Europe, to comply with strict European Union requirements that are set to arrive in 2024. However, Apple has not yet decided whether it will permit its payment tool to be bypassed. Apple is reportedly aiming to launch the feature in its iOS 17 software update.
