Apple trains China-specific AI model, takes Alibaba's help: Report

Apple has trained an AI model specifically for the Chinese market, marking a departure from the iPhone maker’s strategy of relying on third-party models to power AI features in the country, Reuters reported. The AI model was developed in partnership with Alibaba and trained with the Chinese tech giant’s support. Apple Intelligence may launch in China in the coming months.
