Apple announced plans to expand its global recycling programmes, adding it will invite academics, recyclers and other companies to learn how its 33-foot-long recycling robot 'Daisy' works. Apple claims Daisy can disassemble 1.2 million devices per year, or 15 different iPhone models at a rate of 200 per hour. The company added it refurbished 7.8 million Apple devices in 2018.
