The world's largest oil producer Saudi Aramco was the world's most profitable company in 2018, making $111.1 billion, almost double that of Apple. Five international oil majors – Chevron, ExxonMobil, BP, Shell and Total – together posted nearly $80 billion. The Saudi state-run company, which revealed its finances for the first time, generated revenue of nearly $356 billion last year.
