Summer heat can do more than make you uncomfortable, it may also trigger migraines. Hot weather, dehydration and bright sunlight can increase headache risk in people prone to migraines. Dr. Rahul said that losing fluids through sweat or spending long hours in the sun can worsen symptoms. Staying hydrated and avoiding extreme heat may help reduce migraine triggers.
