Argentina's Paredes hints at int'l retirement after ban, Messi's exit

Argentina midfielder Leandro Paredes, who received a 10-match suspension for his role in a brawl following the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, has hinted at his international retirement. The 32-year-old said it will be "difficult" for him to play for Argentina following the suspension and Lionel Messi's international retirement. "I haven't discussed it with the [head] coach yet," Paredes added.
