Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi has awarded woman BSF Assistant Commandant Neha Bhandari with Commendation Disc for her exceptional courage and operational proficiency during Operation Sindoor in Jammu. Neha commanded a border outpost with "eyeball-to-eyeball contact" of a Pakistani post and led her troops to neutralise three forward hostile posts. She is a third-generation officer.
