Indian Army Major Raghunath Ahlawat, 34, reportedly died after falling off a steep cliff during a counter-infiltration operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri on Thursday. He was leading the operation near the Line of Control in Baramulla when he slipped due to bad weather and fell in a 60-metre-deep ravine. He died on the way to the hospital, officials said.
