Around 80% of the 114 Rafale fighter jets proposed to be acquired by IAF are planned to be manufactured in India, according to a report. Several key components and systems of the aircraft are also expected to be built domestically. The deal, reportedly valued at ₹3.25 lakh crore, may see price revisions as cost negotiations between the two sides continue.
