Rasika Dugal, who recently worked with Naseeruddin Shah in a short film, spoke about the 70-year-old actor, who was also her teacher at Film and Television Institute of India fourteen years ago. She said, "He's that rare combination of a great actor who's also a very good teacher." Rasika added, "Around him, I become that nervous and keen student again."
