Ankita Bhandari's mother demanded BJP leader Ajaey Kumar's arrest after her daughter was allegedly murdered by the owner of an Uttarakhand resort where she worked as a receptionist in 2022. She claimed Kumar is the 'VIP' who was being discussed during investigation. However, IG Nilesh Anand Bharne said, "No evidence...about any VIP was presented during...investigation and testimony in court."
