Artemis III won't land on Moon, will test landers in Earth orbit

NASA said its Artemis III mission will send four astronauts to low Earth orbit in 2027 instead of landing on the Moon. The crew will dock with test versions of Blue Origin's and SpaceX's lunar landers during a 14- to 17-day flight, Payload reported. NASA said the first crewed landing will now take place on Artemis IV in 2028.
