Artemis ll crew names Moon's crater 'Carroll' after mission commander's late wife

The Artemis II crew has named a crater on the Moon after the late wife of mission commander Reid Wiseman. “It’s a bright spot on the Moon, and we would like to call it Carroll,” Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen said during a live broadcast. Carroll Taylor Wiseman died of cancer in 2020. Another crater was named "Integrity" after their spacecraft.
