Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud on Monday, while pronouncing the Supreme Court verdict on the validity of Article 370 abrogation said the provision was temporary. He said it was an "interim arrangement due to war conditions in the (erstwhile) State (of Jammu and Kashmir)". The CJI also said that J&K held 'no internal sovereignty' after accession to India.
