Several indie musicians like American bands Deerhoof and Xiu Xiu and Australian rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard among others, have begun taking down their songs from Spotify. This comes after Spotify CEO Daniel Ek invested €600 million in AI-weapon technology with German drone company Helsing. Further, artists are also upset at rise of AI-generated music on Spotify.
