India on Monday lodged a strong demarche with China after a UK-based Arunachal Pradesh native Prema Wangjom Thongdok was held for 18 hours during transit at Shanghai airport, ANI reported. The government told China that Arunachal is indisputably Indian territory. India also stressed that the passenger had been detained on ludicrous grounds, the report added.
