Tirap district administration in Arunachal Pradesh imposed a ban on use of camouflage or military-pattern clothing by civilians during hunting or fishing following security concerns after reports of increased militant movement in region bordering Myanmar. “Wearing camouflage clothing can lead to mistaken identity by Defence forces amid rising militant activities in forested areas,” directive said.
