Dimum Pertin, a 32-year-old woman from Arunachal Pradesh, brought back a nearly forgotten millet, Adlay, nurturing dreams and opportunities for the women around her. Dimum started searching for millet after her grandmother approached her regarding cravings for the food. "It took me a month to identify the right people to contact and understand the cultivation process,” said Dimum.
