Indian boxer Arundhati Choudhary clinched Commonwealth Games gold despite competing in the final with a 102°F fever, her sister Charulata revealed. Charulata added the entire family had been praying for Arundhati’s recovery ahead of the bout. Arundhati defeated England’s Chantelle Reid in the women’s 70kg final to clinch gold. Notably, India won 7 gold medals in bxoing at the Games.
