Ashleigh Gardner's affair controversy prompts Cricket Australia to tighten selection policy

Cricket Australia (CA) will add safeguards around Ashleigh Gardner's involvement in selection discussions after her relationship with junior teammate Georgia Voll became public. The board has backed Gardner staying on as vice-captain. CA CEO Todd Greenberg said CA knew of the relationship beforehand. Gardner's estranged wife Monica Wright had urged the board to strip her of vice-captaincy.
