Ashmita Chaliha becomes first Indian shuttler to win Korea Masters
Indian shuttler Ashmita Chaliha became the first Indian to win the Korea Masters after defeating China's Han Qian Xi in the women's singles final on Sunday. The 26-year-old bounced back after losing the opening game to win 14-21, 21-14, 21-14 in 53 minutes. The Super 300 triumph also marked Chaliha's maiden BWF World Tour title and biggest title of career.
