The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) is on the verge of commissioning Asia’s largest water treatment plant at Thorekadanahalli (TK Halli) in Mandya district, 95 km from Bengaluru. The ambitious Cauvery V Stage project will significantly enhance the city’s water supply by providing Cauvery water to 110 villages on the city’s outskirts.
