Asian Games organisers defend ‘functional’ village in Japan
Asian Games organisers defended the "functional" accommodation in Nagoya amid complaints over short beds, leaks and limited space. Organising committee president Hideaki Omura said, "We will respond to them appropriately," while stressing that facilities are being improved. Around 2,000 people will stay in temporary huts, while 4,000 athletes and officials will be housed on a cruise ship.
