Coronavirus has been detected in Asiatic lions in India for the first time as eight lions housed at Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad tested positive for the virus. "They've been isolated and are responding well to treatment, behaving and eating normally," the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change said. It added that the zoo has been closed to visitors.
