In two separate incidents, unidentified assailants allegedly shot at the dean of Meerut Agriculture University, Prof Rajbeer Singh and three staffers of Deoband jail on Friday. While Singh was shot at in Meerut when he was returning home from the university, the jailer along with two other staffers were shot at when they were at his official residence in Deoband.
