Assam government has invoked the National Security Act (NSA) to detain activist Pranab Doley, a day after he secured bail in a case linked to protests against a proposed hotel project in Kaziranga. Doley had been leading the protests alleging that the hotel poses a threat to the area's ecology. Police alleged they had trespassed on the site with weapons.
