Assam Cabinet reserves 12% police posts for Agniveers

Assam Cabinet, chaired by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, approved key decisions including 12% reservation in police and paramilitary posts for Agniveer scheme veterans. It also approved a ₹10,200 crore Dalmia Bharat investment, ₹10 crore for Assam Regiment, three Jal Jeevan Mission MoUs, and assigned TCS to extend Brahmaputra River Front development.
