The Assam government opened a 300-bed COVID-19 hospital at a stadium complex in Guwahati, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said. The facility, which has 200 general beds and 100 ICU beds, was constructed at a cost of ₹21.46 crore with help from DRDO. "The new facility will immensely aid our fight against the pandemic," the CM added.
