Assam increases govt employees' office hours by 30 minutes
The Assam government has altered the office timings for its staff from 10 am to 5 pm to 9.30 am to 5 pm. The new timings will be followed January 1, 2018, onwards. This comes after CM Sarbananda Sonowal urged the employees to reach early so that people don't have to wait to get their work done.
