The autumn session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will commence from September 12 and will continue till September 19. The monsoon session of the Assembly which began on July 18, ended four days ahead of its scheduled end date of August 12. The Governor of Assam, Prof Jagdish Mukhi, summoned the autumn session.
