Assam Police seize 6 musk pods, arrest 2 from Arunachal

Assam Police busted a musk deer smuggling bid at Medhikuchi, Kamrup Metro, arresting two men from Arunachal Pradesh. Six musk pods weighing 158 grams, worth up to $50,000/kg on black markets, were seized. The contraband was harvested in Arunachal and meant for international illegal trade. Cases under Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 are being initiated.
