Assam Rifles apprehended two NSCN-K (Nikki Sumi) OGWs involved in extortion during operations on January 10 in Tirap district, Arunachal Pradesh. Acting on intelligence, security forces seized ₹3.93 lakh, mobile phones, SIM cards, and extortion notes. The suspects, Khechan Khetey and Danwang Maphouk, were handed over to Khonsa Police for further investigation.
