For the 77th Republic Day parade, Assam's tableau showcased the rich heritage of the terracotta craft of Assam's Asharikandi village. Union Minister and former Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal gave a standing ovation as the tableau passed the main dais. The tableaux of various states and ministries showcased themes centred on '150 years of Vande Mataram' and 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat.'
