'Assassin bugs ambush spiders in their own webs'

A predatory insect species commonly known as 'assassin bugs' hunt spiders by sneaking up on them in their webs. In order to get to its prey, the assassin bug breaks threads of webbing using its forelegs, and holds on to the broken strands to mask vibrations that would otherwise put the spider on alert.
