Astra Microwave Products has secured a ₹2,205.23 crore contract from HAL to supply 122 Airborne Active Antenna Units (AAAU) and 121 Interface Frames for the indigenous Uttam AESA Radar. The order marks a major milestone for India's defence electronics industry and supports the large-scale production of advanced radar systems for future combat aircraft.
