AstroForge's AI to control spacecraft with no commands from earth

AstroForge plans to launch Autonomy-1 in early 2027, giving its Solo AI control after separation from Earth. The spacecraft will transmit telemetry and science data but receive no commands, testing autonomous anomaly detection and decision-making. Solo will first be evaluated in shadow mode, while the mission could advance AI-driven operations for future deep-space and asteroid-mining missions.
