Astronomers find regular rhythm among 60 Delta Scuti pulsating stars

Astronomers have detected a pulsating pattern in 60 Delta Scuti stars, named after a variable star in Scutum constellation. Previously, astronomers couldn't detect any clear pattern in this class of stars. They used NASA's space telescope TESS' data to find stars whose pulsations "made sense". This discovery could help scientists study details like ages, sizes and compositions of these stars.
