At least 2 IPL stars seek ₹40 crore to be retained ahead of mega auction: Report

Some top-tier IPL players have quoted ₹40 crore as their desired retention fee ahead of next year’s mega auction, Cricbuzz reported. At least two players have reportedly told their franchises they would stay only if paid that amount. The auction purse is expected to increase to around ₹150 crore, the report added.
