Gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed's brother Khalid Azim alias Ashraf was brought to the Naini Central Jail in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh on Monday evening amid tight security arrangements. Atiq Ahmed was escorted to the same prison from Gujarat's Sabarmati jail in the evening. Both of them are named in several criminal cases, including the recent Umesh Pal murder case, police said.
