ATM withdrawal of 50% provident fund may soon be permitted: Report

EPFO is planning to upgrade to a new version called EPFO 3.0 which will allow employees to withdraw up to 50% for their provident fund (PF) from ATMs, ET Now reported. A card for the ATM withdrawal is currently being planned by labour ministry, report added. Currently, PF can be withdrawn by submission of physical application or by online application.
