Audi will reportedly start laying off thousands of people soon as the German automobile industry struggled against the Chinese competitors and slow EV transition. The Audi layoffs will affect 7,500 employees. Volkswagen has laid off 48,000 thus far as a part of its cost-cutting programme to boost profit, focus on growth.
