Hollywood actor Idris Elba dismissed reports that he would play James Bond following Daniel Craig's exit in 2021, saying the audience would not accept 007 with colour. Confirming that the rumours were "never legit", Idris said, "I've always felt that it's not a realistic thing," adding, "And [audiences] won't go for a Black male, an African male, playing Bond."
