Aus envoy hails AUSTRAHIND 2026 for deepening India ties

Australian High Commissioner Philip Green visited Exercise AUSTRAHIND 2026 in Thiruvananthapuram, praising the bilateral drill for building trust and defence interoperability. The fifth edition, running October 19–November 1, involves 120 personnel each from India and Australia training in jungle, coastal and island warfare. A New Zealand observer delegation is participating for the first time.
