The former Australia cricketers organised a testimonial lunch at the MCG and initiated a GoFundMe page to launch financial assistance to Chappell. The event was hosted by Eddie McGuire and featured many eminent figures including Ian and Trevor Chappell. The page has already raised $72,000.
