Australia appoints first-ever woman army chief

Australia has named Lieutenant General Susan Coyle as its first-ever woman army chief. Coyle, who has served for three decades, is the first woman to lead one of the three branches of the country's defence forces. "It is a deeply historic moment. As Susan said to me, 'You cannot be what you cannot see'," Defence Minister Richard Marles said.
