The Australian Renewable Energy Agency has backed the world's first project to turn biogas from waste and sewage into hydrogen, a clean alternative fuel source. The Australian agency has given a conditional approval for up to $6.3 million in funding for the project, which is expected to produce 100 ton of hydrogen per annum.
