Australia has paused applications for Significant Investor Visa, which granted wealthy overseas investors the right to live in the country. Also known as 'golden visa' scheme, applicants were required to invest over A$5 million (₹27 crore) in Australia to be eligible for it. "This visa isn't delivering what our country and economy need," Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil said.
