Australian PM Anthony Albanese said the country will reinstate support payments for casual workers who have to quarantine due to COVID-19. The leave payments, which ended on June 30 and entitled workers to get up to A$750 ($510) for each seven-day quarantine period, will remain in place until September-end, he added. This comes amid rising COVID-19 cases in the country.
