A pigeon that travelled across the Pacific Ocean to reach Australia from US will be killed due to Australia's strict quarantine rules. The bird reportedly went missing during a race in Oregon in late October, before turning up in Melbourne almost two months later. Officials said that they are concerned about bird diseases risk and will have to euthanise it.
